Sources of the “Free Patriotic Movement” revealed that the meeting that brought together the head of the other National Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, with Major General Abbas Ibrahim took place at the request of the latter, pointing out that the head of the movement did not send any message other than what he says in the media.
The sources denied what was reported by the MTV station, that “Bassil met Ibrahim hours ago, conveying to him a message to the party stating, “I am not going to confront the other, cut me off on Wednesday, and then we will go and discuss a third option.”
And OTV information had confirmed that Bassil’s meeting with Major General Ibrahim did not take place in the last hours, due to the latter’s presence outside Lebanon, and what was reported about the content of the meeting through some media outlets is incorrect.
