Baba Indrajith was the talk of the town in the Vijay Hazare Trophy cricket match on Wednesday. He is Tamil Nadu’s batsman. His performance was in the match between Haryana and Tamil Nadu. Baba Indrajith, who had a severe injury to his lip, entered the competition with a bandage on his lip.
He came in to bat against Haryana’s 294-run win. At first he faced a few balls but the discomfort of the wound started to bother him. He immediately sought the help of doctors. Even though Tamil Nadu lost the match, Baba Indrajith was the star. He also scored 64 runs in the lead.
Indrajith suffered a severe injury to his upper lip during the innings break. Captain Dinesh Karthik himself informed about this. Meanwhile, after the match ended, Indrajith was rushed to the hospital.

Indrajith got injured after slipping in the bathroom during the mid-innings break. Still he was ready to bat.
“Thank you for everyone’s prayers. Chund injured his lip after slipping in the bathroom during the innings break. A lot of blood flowed from the lips and mouth. But my decision was to bat for the team. Somehow he batted. He went to the hospital immediately after the match. I will be back soon,” Indrajith wrote on Instagram.
Meanwhile, he scored 103 runs against Mumbai in the quarter-final before the semi-final. Indrajith also managed to score 92 runs in the match against Madhya Pradesh.
