Meta finally solves one of Instagram’s oldest problems. Now network users will be able to add up to five links in their bio.
“This is one of the most requested features we’ve had”. This confession is that of Mark Zuckerberg. The boss of Meta seems to have a revelation and announces the arrival of a long-awaited feature on Instagram. Indeed, it is now possible to display several links in your personal bio.
Concretely, only the first encoded link will appear on the profile. The following will be hidden in a popup menu that will need to be expanded. In other words, you will see the first link, with the words “and [x] other links. Nothing too bad, but this limitation might hinder users who want everything to be as clear as on Linktree.
As incredible as it may seem, Instagram will have taken years to add this simple possibility. Same thing for adding links to stories. Which leaves us wondering regarding the arrival of other improvements, such as support for links on iPad. That being said, the update is still great news for the majority of members. Note that the feature is being rolled out and should be available to everyone shortly.
