Instagram increases the length of its stories

The story recording format is changed from 15 to 60 seconds.

Until now, when you wanted to record a video and then publish it in your story of the day, you had to be synthetic enough to make it all fit in 15 seconds. After this time, Instagram came to play spoilsport and sprinkled your creation with microcuts.

That time is soon over. An update, already being rolled out, now allows up to 60 seconds of video to be recorded. No more untimely cuts that disturb users while reading a story.

Beyond the comfort aspect for those who browse Instagram stories, the news also allows those who create them to breathe a big sigh of relief.

Before this update, if a user recorded a 45 second video and wanted to add additional elements (text, stickers, music, etc.), these also had to be no longer than 15 seconds. In other words, the additions had to be repeated manually on each video fragment if the user wanted to keep them visible.

If managing stories seemed uncomfortable to you, this should allow you to patch things up with the application.
