Instagram is preparing a new feature for saved posts

This is a handy feature when it comes to saving a post to read it later. On Instagram, the menu Checked in allows you to sort all your favorite content into collections, the name of which you can choose as you wish. These albums remain completely confidential, which also offers the possibility of creating gift lists without informing your other half, for example.

But soon, this could change. Indeed, a curious developer has managed to get his hands on an advanced version of Meta’s social network where it is possible to make a public collection, so as to then share it with its subscribers. This would be practical for an influencer who wants to highlight certain products for his fans, or simply to promote the creators of your choice. Here’s how the option could look in an upcoming version of Instagram:

Keep calm in the evening

With this, Instagram is also working on a function “silence” to update your status to indicate that you are unavailable automatically after a certain time. Notifications, too, would be disabled accordingly, with the aim here of allowing you to take a break before sleeping.

It is indeed the “night” period that Instagram mentions, when we know that it is indeed preferable to switch off your smartphone before going to bed to guarantee a better quality sleep ensuite.

Trends Add photo

At the same time, Alessandro Paluzzi also discovered that Instagram is preparing a new tab to discover the most popular publications in Add photo. If this doesn’t mean anything to you, know that this is a sticker that you can display in one of your stories to ask your friends to share photos similar to yours.

All these changes are available internally only, like the 5 previews last week, and we don’t know if the beta will be entitled to it anytime soon. If you don’t have access to it, you will probably have to wait a few more weeks. Most often, iOS and Android are concerned but it happens that certain tools are confined to certain mobile operating systems.
