Instagram is testing a new option that offers the possibility to pin several posts on the profile. If we are to believe the screenshots posted on Twitter by Salman Menonsocial media expert, the favorite posts of Instagram users are going to be displayed at the top of their profile, even if they publish others later. The number of posts to pin will certainly be limited to 3. To pin a post on their Instagram profile, users simply have to click on the three small vertical dots at the top right of their post, and select the option “Pin to your profile”. This option will give brands and creators the possibility of highlight their flagship publications as well as showing their past posts that have had a high engagement rate. For the moment, no official information has been announced by Instagram about this novelty.
