Several advertisers and companies have announced that they are leaving the site, and figures from TRG Datacenters indicate that Internet users have followed suit.

The arrival of several competitors to this microblogging site, including a major one, Threads, may also have contributed to the decline in popularity of of 100 million users. In a few weeks, however, daily traffic fell by 80%, a figure accompanied by a marked drop in time spent on the application.
