ZACATECAS.- As part of the operation to guarantee the safety of citizens and those who visit the state, on the occasion of the Zacatecas Cultural Festival 2022, the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) installed a service point of the Medicine Unit
Tactics of the State Preventive Police.
The special operations post was placed in the Rinconada de Catedral, in order to attend to emergency situations that could arise during the development of mass concentration events and activities that take place within the framework of the Cultural Festival.
For this purpose, there is an official ambulance type vehicle duly marked out by the corporation, where emergency medical assistance and first aid are provided, there are trained personnel of both sexes, two nursing graduates, two emergency medical technicians and a doctor from the Ministry of Health.
They have equipment for different patients
The staff of the Medical Unit has equipment for traumatic patients, equipment for the care of clinical patients, as well as for the care of diverse patients, it is also linked to the 9-1-1 Emergency System, for a better distribution of the means.
In order to prevent the consummation of accidents, as well as to provide timely medical attention, a group of specialized personnel performs security and surveillance walks on the ground, while another group remains fixed at the attention post.
It is important to note that the SSP has deployed a special security device, in which it coordinates efforts with the National Guard and the Mexican Army, to provide security and tranquility to those who attend the various events held within the framework of the festival.
