Al-Marsad newspaper: The Cleveland Clinic website revealed a group of foods to maintain blood pressure and avoid the risks of heart, brain, kidney and other diseases.
She pointed out that foods rich in vitamins “C” and “E” help lower blood pressure instead of resorting to medications to treat and reduce this problem, but it is possible through easier steps to treat blood pressure, by eating the following food groups:
The first groupFoods rich in vitamin C. This group includes sweet potatoes, strawberries, broccoli, kiwis, and citrus fruits such as oranges.
the second groupFoods rich in vitamin E. This group includes avocados, almonds, salmon, and peanut butter.
third groupFoods that are high in potassium, which helps lower blood pressure by relaxing the walls of your blood vessels and helping your body get rid of excess sodium, can be obtained from potatoes, carrots, spinach, tomatoes and nuts.
