The seal of excellence “Comprehensive Cancer Center” was awarded for the second time to Institut Curie as part of the renewal of accreditation by the Organization of European Cancer Institutes (OCI), for a period of five years.
This collective approach to continuous improvement at Institut Curie is supported by Unicancer in order to establish the model of centers for the fight against cancer inspired by the Curie model. Its main objective was to assess the three missions of the Institute: research, care and the conservation and transmission of knowledge.
The renewal of the OECI accreditation is a guarantee of excellence at the international level and a lever for the recognition of the Curie model. It testifies to the high quality of the organization, the care offered and the research activities of the Institut Curie. And it is thanks to the daily commitment of Institut Curie staff who work every day against cancer, for patients

The official presentation of the accreditation certificate took place on Friday June 16, 2023 during the 15th edition of the “Oncology Days”, an event co-organized by the OECI and the Institut Curie, with the support of the ARC Foundation.
