According to rumors published by the Chinese website Benchlife, Intel should launch a new Bartlett Lake-S platform as a product for its Intel NEX business line; but marketing to the final, domestic consumer is not ruled out.

Recently, the processor giant announced that it would launch a new platform codenamed Barlett Lake-S. However, it was not very clear what the differences would be between this new platform and the Raptor Lake-S Refresh, which is currently on the market. This is because it was reported that the new proposal would use the same Intel 7 node and the same silicon as the current generation.

Information coming from the production chain, however, states that Barlett Lake-S would be focused on “Network and Edge” applications; making an allusion to the Intel NEX (Network and Edge) group – a line aimed at business consumers.

In the field of specificationsthe new Barlett Lake-S must have 24 cores and 32 threads, using 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores (but a version with only 12 P-cores, without E-cores, may also be available).

The new platform you must use the LGA-1700 socketlaunched in 2021, and be compatible with DDR4 and DDR5 memories – as well as 12th, 13th and 14th generation processors. Furthermore, can present better performance in AI compared to the current Raptor Lake-S Refresh. In GPU, we should see the UHD Graphics 770.

According to the parameters, Bartlett Lake-S should be reserved for Intel’s business line. However, the domestic market was not excluded by the rumor source.
