Inter beat Atlético, Dortmund draws from Eindhoven

For a long time, Šlágr in Milan offered a tactical battle without much chances in the first half. It wasn’t until the 37th minute that Martínez’s header was stopped by visiting goalkeeper Oblak, and another attempt by Inter’s Argentine captain from a good position was blocked by defender Giménez.

Shortly after the change of sides, Arnautovic failed to convert another promising opportunity for the “Nerazzurri”, and the Austrian striker, who replaced the injured Thuram, failed to finish even after an hour of play, alone in front of Oblak.

The Slovenian goalkeeper also eliminated Martínez’s header. After all, the home team used overwhelming pressure in the 79th minute. Oblak deflected Martínez’s shot to a free Arnautovic, who broke through the poor shot.

Inter beat Atletico Madrid.

One of the most active players of the Madrid team, Lino could have quickly equalized, but missed by a bit. In the end, not even substitute Morata made his mark for Atlético. The leaders of the Italian league thus maintained their lead and extended their winning streak to nine competitive matches.

In Eindhoven, Malen opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a pinpoint shot into the top corner. The Dutch winger did not celebrate the goal out of respect for his former team. PSV footballers did not convert several promising chances.

There was a great atmosphere in Eindhoven.

The home side, who progressed to the knockout stages of the Champions League after eight years, equalized in the 56th minute. Hummels fouled Tillman in the penalty area and captain De Jong converted the penalty.

After that, Malen was able to score again, but this time he did not beat the goalkeeper Benítez. On the other side, goalkeeper Meyer made a good save against Desta’s shot. PSV extended their unbeaten home streak to 31 competitive matches, Borussia maintained their unbeaten streak this year.
