Inter Milan also won the fifth ‘Derby della Madonnina’ this year. Goalkeeper Yann Sommer’s team won 5-1 against their neighbor AC Milan during the 4th day of Serie A.
Heinrich Mikhitaryan was the dominant player with his double in favor of the team led by Simone Inzaghi. The Armenian opened the scoring in the 5th minute and made it 3-1 in the 69th minute. Rafael Leao reduced the score to 2-1 shortly before the hour mark. Noah Okafor was introduced in the 77th minute into the ranks of AC Milan.
The evening was ultimately quite quiet for Sommer, except for the end of the first half where he had to work against the AC attackers.
Inter leads the table with maximum points and a goal difference of 12-1.
