When questioned, the director of the Regina, René Glückli, denies practicing outdated rules. “As a vocational school with integrated boarding school, we are subject to a particular duty of supervision,” he explains, recalling that many young people are under 18, or even 16 years old. “In any boarding school, the internal rules apply to everyone, regardless of age,” he says. According to him, the objective is to prepare young people to enter the labor market. And as such, the rules must be respected.
