International: “A disgrace”: What Kane blames CR7 and Messi for

Harry Kane: “I don’t think there was anyone better than him”

Kane also revealed that he idolized former Brazilian world-class striker Ronaldo Nazario when he was younger.

“Our playing styles are very different, but his finishing and his movements with the ball at his feet were outstanding. I don’t think there was anyone better than him in the world,” enthused Kane about the now 48-year-old, who ended his career in 2011. “If I’m being honest, he had a lot more ability than me. When I was young, I tried to learn from all the good strikers, and Ronaldo was at his prime back then. He was a joy to watch.”

Kane has been one of the best goalscorers in the world for many years. In 2023 he moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern, and his quota in Munich is also excellent.

In the current season, the 31-year-old Englishman currently has 20 goals and nine assists in 17 appearances. Last Friday, Kane scored his third hat-trick and second flawless hat trick of this Bundesliga season in the game against FC Augsburg (3-0).
