The Rabat artistic scene is preparing to host the second edition of the International Festival of Women Directors, called “Jassad” (body). From January 25 to 29, 2024, the Aquarium Theater will be the home of this captivating event that celebrates female creativity in the field of directing.
Nine exceptional works, each representing a different country, will be at the heart of this rich and diverse program dedicated to the 4th art. A unique opportunity to discover and celebrate the diversity of female artistic voices expressed through the prism of theater.
The second edition of the festival brings together directors from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Cameroon, Italy, Greece, France, Spain and Germany. 9 creations offering “exceptional artistic and cultural diversity”, welcome the organizers, adding that “the festival maintains its commitment to the theatrical creativity of women in particular and the performing arts in general, for the promotion and strengthening of presence of women in the fields of art and culture”.
