International Islamic Conference: Promoting Religious Moderation & Global Unity

Jeddah: Saudi Arabia will host the International Islamic Conference. Saudi ruler King Salman has given permission to hold the conference on August 13 and 14 in Makkah. About 150 scholars and muftis from 85 countries will participate in the conference.

The two-day Islamic Summit is being organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs. Saudi ruler King Salman has given permission to hold the conference in Makkah on 26th and 27th of Muharram or August 13-14. The conference is titled “Communication among the World’s Religious and Iftakarya Communities to Promote Moderation”.

The seven sessions over two days will analyze the issues of moderation, religious extremism, extremism, terrorism, degradation, tolerance and co-existence among different groups of people. This international Islamic conference is aimed at establishing links between scholars and religious communities around the world, promoting unity in the Muslim world and fighting once morest extremist ideas.
