Cologne (SID) – Defending champions Juventus Turin have followed Inter Milan to the final of the Italian Football Cup and can continue to dream of their 15th title. In the second leg of the semi-finals against arch-rivals AC Fiorentina, the record cup winners won 2-0 (1-0) and after the 1-0 from the first duel there was no doubt about progress.
Federico Bernardeschi (32′) and Danilo (90’+4′) scored on Wednesday for Juve, who will face Inter in the final on May 11 in Rome. The champions triumphed on Tuesday with a brilliant 3-0 in the city derby against AC Milan and made it into the final. Inter have won the cup a total of seven times – most recently in 2011.
