The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) set a reserve price of around $21 million for the three-year international media rights, but no one could match it.

According to the details, the international media rights of the home series between Pakistan and New Zealand were sold for 99,000 dollars i.e. about Rs.
The Pakistan Cricket Board allocated an unreasonable reserve price of around $21 million for the 3-year international media rights.
No one could even come close, a Pakistani media group and a consortium of private companies joined the bidding, with foreign companies Willow and Sports Five also participating in the process.
Sports Five made the highest bid of $7.8 million, Pakistani companies bid around $4.1 million and Willow $2.25 million.
When the reserve price did not match, the board conducted a second round of bidding asking the participating parties to increase the price.
In the second phase, SportsFive did not increase its previous offer of 7.8 million.
Pakistani companies almost doubled their bids to 7.85 and won the bid, but the PCB rejected all bids this time as none reached the reserve price.

The combined bids of the companies stood at $99,000 (roughly Rs. 2.76 million), Willow bid $75,000 and Sports Five bid $50,000.
Remember that 5 T20 matches between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from April 18 to April 27 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
While the women’s series between Pakistan and West Indies is scheduled in Karachi from April 18 to May 3, it will open with 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.
