[선데이뉴스신문=신민정 기자] The Internet Newspaper Autonomous Disclosure Organization (Chairman Lee Geun-young, hereinafter referred to as IDI) announced that it held an Internet Newspaper Autonomous Disclosure Business Briefing at Maehwa Hall of Korea Press Center located in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 5th. This briefing session was prepared to inform Internet newspaper workers of the purpose and main contents of the Internet Newspaper Autonomous Disclosure Project and guide them on how to participate in the project. The briefing session on this day proceeded in the order of questions and answers from the attendees following the main contents of IDI’s business and information on how to participate. IDI explained the specific details of the Internet Newspaper Autonomous Disclosure Project, which discloses key information by verifying data submitted by Internet newspapers according to reasonable and fair disclosure standards, and requested a lot of interest and participation from Internet newspapers. In the Q&A session that followed, attendees presented various opinions, such as improving the convenience of participating in online newspaper self-disclosure and granting benefits to participating companies. IDI responded that it would review and reflect the opinions confirmed through the Q&A and carry out the Internet Newspaper Autonomous Disclosure Project this year. Meanwhile, IDI plans to continue additional business briefings to guide participation methods prior to the implementation of self-disclosure in Internet newspapers in 2023.
