I can’t explain that either, too little is known about this complication after a Covid disease. Of course, when people complain of persistent shortness of breath, we look at the clinical picture and check the lungs and heart. In fact, with Long Covid it is often the case that you cannot find anything. But the patients undoubtedly suffer from these symptoms, they are absolutely believable. With ME / CFS patients in particular, we often observe that they have had a veritable odyssey of visits to the doctor because they are often told: “You have nothing!” But it’s not true, they have something after all, and you just help them by saying: “We know that.”
