15-inch MacBook Air that many people have been waiting for has arrived It comes with a 15.3-inch display. Apple says the new Retina display has 500 nits of brightness and support for 1 billion colors, has a thin 5mm bezel and a 1080p camera housed in a notch.
The 15-inch MacBook Air is just 11.5mm thin and weighs just 1.496kg, and Apple comes in four color options: midnight, starlight, space gray, and silver.
Another highlight is that it comes with the same M2 chip as the 13-inch model, with an 8-core CPU (4 cores and 4 normal cores), 10-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. The laptop starts with 8GB of RAM memory, but can be configured up to 24GB, and the M2 chip will help the 15-inch Air last up to 18 hours on a single charge.
Apple says the new 15-inch MacBook Air is up to 12 times faster than ‘Fastest MacBook Air with Intel’ and up to 2 times faster than the best-selling 15-inch Laptop PC with Core i7 processors.
The 15-inch MacBook Air has two USB-C Thunderbolt ports, a MagSafe charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, three microphones, and six speakers.
The MacBook Air 15 inches starts at $1,299, or the price in Thailand is 47900 baht.
