Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and Investcorp, the global financial institution specializing in alternative investments, announced that they are discussing the creation of an investment platform to manage student housing assets in the United Kingdom.
As part of this proposed investment initiative, Investcorp will develop a student accommodation management investment platform, which will be jointly owned with Mumtalakat. Close to 1,200 beds across the cities of Nottingham, Bristol, Exeter and Leeds.
The focus will be on acquiring between 700 and 1,000 additional beds annually over the next several years.
