Invima launched an alert for condoms with possible holes

The National Institute for Food and Drug Surveillance, Invima, launched a health alert after finding a batch of condoms that did not comply with the hole detection tests and that, therefore, could have small holes that would prevent their proper functioning. .

Given the seriousness of the discovery, the control entity ordered to withdraw batch 2106572316 of latex condoms and prevent the use of any of the products that were manufactured on that date.

In order to prevent them from using these condoms, Invima revealed that the findings were made in the production of the Today brand, specifically in some with lubricant and natural rubber specifications.

Finally, the institute recommended that, if you are using the referenced product, notify the marketer so that he can take the corresponding measures.

This is the second alert sent by Invima regarding sexual products in less than a month. On April 8, the Institute warned of poisoning in young people due to the improper use of the drug sildenafil, known as viagra.

According to practice, the uncontrolled consumption of said medication led the authorities to alert intoxications in young people from various educational institutions in the country.

On that occasion, the health authority highlighted that the increase in cases is due to the fact that people are using the drug to do challenges that go viral on social networks and that consist of mixing the pill with an alcoholic beverage.
