TEurope Direct of Western Greece, the Region of Western Greece and Routelab in collaboration with the Office of the European Parliament in Greece and with the support of Ionian TV and the Film Club of Patras, organize screenings of nominated films for the LUX 2024 Audience Award from March 28 to 31, 2024.
For this purpose, a press conference will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00 am. in the Pantheon Cinema Hall, in Patras.
The organization aims to promote European cinema and strengthen film culture in the city of Patras, offering the audience the opportunity to contribute to the final ranking and winning film of the LUX 2024 Audience Award.
The speakers will be the Deputy Regional Governor for Entrepreneurship, Research and Innovation of Western Greece, Takis Papadopoulos, the Head of the Europe Direct Center of Western Greece, Maria Voutsina, the Owner and Director of Ionian TV, Spyros Kambiotis, the President of the Film Club of Patras, Eleni Dassiou and Communication and Public Relations Manager of Routelab, Christina Kouimoundzi.
A special speaker will be the Community Manager of the European Parliament office in Greece, Stavros Samouilidis, whose taped message will be broadcast on the institution of the LUX audience award.
