Young industry: The earlier measures are taken to get children excited about STEM topics, the better. Let’s start right away together!
Vienna (OTS) – The MINTality Foundation, Junge Industrie, the Technisches Museum Wien and the catchy tune Bakabu around author Ferdinand Auhser have joined forces to get more children – and girls in particular – interested in technology and make MINT professions accessible to them. The Bakabu project has long supported the early language development of children, while the Technisches Museum Wien, Junge Industrie and the MINTality Foundation are also strongly committed to bringing our little ones closer to dealing with technology. The result is 11 children’s songs and 10 experiments, which are packed into a great story and will be available as a book for kindergarten children throughout Austria free of charge. The book is aimed at children of kindergarten age as well as their most important caregivers: parents and teachers.
The children’s book will be distributed to Austria’s kindergartens nationwide in the next few weeks and is intended to serve as a tool and inspiration for educators to work in the group. The songs and experiments are integrated into the book, making them easily accessible.
