Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi spoke at a press conference, today, Wednesday, before his team’s match against Liverpool at the “San Siro” stadium, in the 16th round of the Champions League “Champions League”.
Inzaghi stressed that the English team is the most likely to win, noting that “they have all the respect,” adding: “We will not lose a match before we play it.”
“The club and the fans deserve to play this kind of game,” the Italian coach said. “It will be very difficult, the match will be close, but we will come out with our best weapons.”
He added: “In theory, Liverpool are the favorites. We have to play our football. The will will make the difference, the boys have it, they have shown that since the beginning of the season.”
The first leg of the round of 16 will take place today at 22:00 pm (Quds time), and it will be the first appearance of Inter in the second round of the Champions League since the 2011-2012 season.
It is noteworthy that the last confrontation between Inter and Liverpool in the round of 16 in the Champions League dates back to 2008, when the English team won back and forth.
