iOS 16.4 will expand Voice Isolation and duplicate image detection

A Apple took advantage of the release of the version Release Candidate (RC) do iOS 16.4 to expand some of its capabilities to more areas of the iPhones system.

The first one is the way of Voice Isolation, introduced with iOS 15 to help block ambient sound during a call and prioritize the user’s voice. Until then, this feature was exclusive to applications that allowed you to make calls over the internet (VoIP), but now it can also be activated during calls via the cellular network.

The feature, it is worth remembering, can be activated by the iOS Control Center by tapping and holding the “Mode” option. Currently, it is possible to choose the Voice Isolation mode in calls made by apps such as FaceTime, WhatsApp and Telegram, for example.

The second novelty concerns the app feature Photos (Photos) that helps you identify and erase duplicate photos on your iPhone. If before this feature only worked with images present in the user’s personal library, now it is also able to find duplicates in a iCloud Shared Photo Library (iCloud Shared Photo Library).

The feature helps users to free up space on iCloud or on their own device and can be found in the tab “Albums”, positioned at the bottom of the screen. The feature combines the highest resolution images and sends the lowest quality copies to the album “Deleted”.

Very cool, isn’t it? ????
