Update series at Apple on Thursday evening: The manufacturer released iOS 16.5, iPadOS 16.5, macOS 13.4, watchOS 9.5 and tvOS 16.5. The new software version 16.5 is also available for HomePods. The updates can be downloaded and installed directly on the devices via the integrated software update.

According to the package insert, the new features of iOS 16.5 are manageable: the company announced that a new, colorful “Pride Celebration” wallpaper should honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture. In addition to the iPhone wallpaper, there is an associated new variant of the Pride watch face for the Apple Watch.

Update also for macOS 13 Ventura

macOS Ventura 13.4 should ensure that unlocking MacBook or desktop Mac via Apple Watch works reliably again and connect to Bluetooth keyboards faster after a restart. The error in the screen time settings already mentioned in iOS 16.5 has also been fixed in macOS, Apple also explained. In addition to the new Pride watch face, watchOS 9.5 also brings bug fixes, including possibly the elimination of a serious problem with iMessage.
