Apple has just released iOS and iPadOS 17.1.1, a minor update with two fixes. The first concerns certain NFC features (like Apple Pay) that may become unavailable on iPhone 15s. following wireless charging in certain cars “. Cupertino had confirmed the problem, which visibly affects the Qi chargers integrated into certain recent BMWs as well as Toyota Supras.

The second patch concerns the Weather widget on the lock screen, which might sometimes not display snow correctly. Apple’s notes don’t indicate anything more, although there are still several small bugs to work out. As a reminder, iOS 17.1 was released on October 25. This version notably brings the iPhone 12 fix as well as some new features.

Note also that Apple has simultaneously deployed an update for HomePod (17.1.1 here too). It should fix a Siri bug preventing certain speakers from responding to a request, or making them react very slowly.
