This chip, 18% more powerful than the SoC M1 at the CPU level and 35% more efficient in terms of graphics power, should logically find a place in theiPad Pro and Apple could present us with a revision of its “big” tablet no later than the end of the year.
Indeed, Mark Gurman, journalist at Bloomberg specializing in manufacturer news, announces that Apple has planned to unveil a new iPad Pro M2 by next September or October. The release of the touch pad could therefore be attached to the keynote which will see the announcement of theiPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 or benefit from a separate event later.
This iPad Pro M2 would not differ from the model released in the spring of 2021 and would present as main novelties the change of processor as well as a wireless charging mode to facilitate the recharging of the device. The camera module could also be improved with this 2022 vintage and the borders of the 12.9-inch model could be refined to gain screen surface.
The real revival of the iPad Pro would take place in 2023 with the presentation of a new giant model, equipped with a 14.1-inch screen, and which would be perfectly suited to Stage Manager, the new multitasking system introduced with iPadOS 16.
