From what we know so far, the iPhone 14 series will have four models this year, the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.Old iPhone layout from Standard Edition and Plus variant with Pro units added. Apple will no longer manufacture a miniature unit after the iPhone 13 Mini, so the iPhone SE series is the iPhone’s compact counterpart to the Mini. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro both have a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max both have a 6.7-inch screen.

Apple plans to launch iPhone 14 at the same price as iPhone 13, but iPhone 14 Max will cost you an extra $100 (around Rs 8,000). iPhone 14 Pro with additional features will cost you $1099 (around Rs 84,000).

Apple plans to release two versions of the A16 chip on the iPhone 14 series. The iPhone 14 and 14 Max will pack an A16 Bionic chip that is said to be the same that powers the iPhone 13 Pro models. The iPhone 13 and 13 Mini have the Apple A15 Bionic SoC with 4 cores, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro have the A15 Bionic with 5 cores. Something similar will appear with the iPhone 14 series.

The A15 chip is indeed the most powerful chipset currently available on the market, with the iPhone 11’s A13 beating out Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Therefore, the iPhone 14 and 14 Max is expected to crush the competitors of Android smartphones with the A16 Bionic chip. The A16 Pro models will come with additional GPU power and faster RAM support. Although, we’ll have to wait for the iPhones to launch to see how they perform in the real world.
