Announced at the end of last year and launched worldwide in January, the OnePlus 12 is the latest top-of-the-line product from the Chinese manufacturer — which didn’t come to play.
I say this because, according to a test recently carried out by PhoneBuffthe device won the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the battery evaluation — which, in turn, beat the Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra in the same test —, but lost to the flagship of Maçã (barely) in the performance test.
In terms of performance, both phones started on equal footing, showing off their prowess in loading apps and basic processing tasks. The OnePlus 12, it’s worth noting, is powered by the chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 3complemented by a robust 16GB of memory.
In the test, the device performed slightly ahead in photo processing and exporting tasks. Despite this, the iPhone 15 Pro Max was not left behind, standing out especially in games — at which point it managed to surpass its competitor. With that, he completed the speed test with a small advantage, scoring 2 minutes and 8 secondscontra 2 minutes and 16 seconds do OnePlus 12.
In terms of battery, the OnePlus 12 is equipped with a battery component 5.400mAhsignificantly larger than that of the iPhone (4.441mAh). This difference had, of course, an impact on the test, since despite the renowned iOS optimization, the OnePlus 12 came out victorious, lasting remarkable 28 hours and 9 minutes — while Apple’s smartphone lasted 27 hours and 45 minutes.
