Analyst Jeff Bo said that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 48-megapixel telephoto camera.
The updated 48-megapixel iPhone 17 Pro Max camera is designed for use with Apple’s Vision Pro headset, which is scheduled to arrive in the United States in early 2024, Bo said in a research note.
Currently, the iPhone 15 includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, with the iPhone 16 expected to have a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The presence of a 48-megapixel telephoto camera means that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will capture more details in enlarged photos and videos, with improved low-light performance and image stabilization, according to the iPhone Arena website.
