One of the points that has already generated a vast amount of speculation in relation to the next iPhones are the cores. In recent months, we have heard rumors here involving possibilities for the new top-of-the-line models to have a new red option, as well as for the entry-level devices to arrive in blue, pink and cyan/light green colors.
Because that is, once more, the subject of the time – now on account of new information published by a source on the Chinese social network Weibo, which has already “corrected” two other rumors previously. As remembered by 9to5Macthis source accurately stated that the iPhones 14 Pro/14 Pro Max would be available in a deep purple color and that the devices would have a different cutout for the flash.
According to the source, the new color of the “iPhones 15 Pro/15 Pro Max” will be a shade of purple — which, while still quite dark, should be a little lighter than the deep purple of the current more expensive models. The new rumor diverges from the possibility that we have a dark red iPhone – even though we are talking regarding shades very close to each other.
Furthermore, the Weibo account corroborated the speculation that the “iPhones 15/15 Plus” will feature a similar color option to the verde of the iPhones 11 and 12, with a light tone, close to the cyan color. Green can then join the azul or to a possible stronger tone of rosa as options for the next incoming iPhones.
It is worth remembering that the next Pro models may have a titanium chassis, which should lead to important changes in the manufacturing process of the devices. Therefore, if this materializes, it is possible that even the already conventional colors, such as graphite and silver, undergo changes in tones, albeit shy.
We are, however, getting closer and closer to the launch of the new iPhones (probably in September), so decisions related to the colors of the devices should be taken soon — that is, if they have already been made —, considering the necessary planning for the manufacturing lines .
In addition, even if they do not arrive at launch, one of the colors may be launched as a “mid-cycle” option, as recently occurred with the yellow of the iPhones 14/14 Plus.
