Bengaluru: Reports say that IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore is set to ditch the team’s coaching staff. Head of cricket operations Mike Hesson and head coach Sanjay Bangar are reportedly out.

Currently, the contract of both is to be renewed in September. But there are reports that the franchise may reconsider in this regard. Their performance will be monitored and the decision will be taken.

Mike Hesson is the head of cricket operations for the Bangalore team in the IPL women’s competition. But the performance of the team was poor. The team finished in fourth place in a battle of five teams.

At present, the position of both is secure. No further information has come out regarding the team’s separation with both of them. Some media have released the news.

Bengaluru, which is full of superstars, has not been able to win the IPL title so far. Hesson became a part of the team in 2019. Sanjay Bangar has been appointed as the head coach of the team for the 2022 season. The appointment followed the resignation of Aussie coach Simon Katich.

In 2020, the team finished fourth in the group stage. But in the eliminator battle, Sunrisers lost to Hyderabad and were eliminated.

2021 also got out in the same way. The team finished in third place that season. But in the eliminator battle, they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders and were eliminated.

This time the team reached the fourth position. But in the qualifiers, they lost to Rajasthan Royals and failed to enter the playoffs.
