Iran prepares imminent ballistic missile attack against Israel

Iran is about to launch a ballistic missile attack against Israelaccording to an Axios report citing a senior White House official. The Biden Administration considers that the attack is imminent.

“We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel from this attack,” the senior official stated, emphasizing that “a direct military attack by Iran against Israel will have serious consequences” for the Persian nation.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari noted that US authorities had alerted Tel Aviv about a possible Iranian attack on Israel. However, the spokesperson noted that no “air threat from Iran” has been detected so far.

«Our air defense systems are fully prepared and Air Force planes patrol the sky. “We are at the highest level of preparation in attack and defense together with our US partners and we are following the events in Iran together,” he stressed, while indicating that an Iranian attack against Israel “will have consequences.”

Tehran has promised to respond to Tel Aviv for the murder of several of its officials.

For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, declared on Sunday that the death of Brigadier General and deputy chief of operations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, Abbas Nilforooshan.

Abbas Nilforooshan, who died last week in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, will have repercussions for the Jewish State.

“Without a doubt, this terrible crime of the aggressor Zionist regime will not go unanswered,” he stated.
