Under the threat from Israel, the Iranian army will strike at the center of the country. This was announced at a ceremony in honor of the National Army Day by President Ebrahim Raisi.
“If there is the slightest movement from your side that threatens our nation, then the center of the Israeli regime will become the target of our armed forces,” the national Iranian news agency IRNA reported the words of the head of state.
As the President of Iran noted, the movements and actions of Israeli troops are recorded by Iranian intelligence. In particular, the concern of the country’s authorities was caused by an Israeli Air Force attack on the outskirts of Syrian Damascus, where Iranian air defense systems were located, as well as a military convoy delivering a new batch of drones to pro-Iranian Shiite detachments – supporters of the Syrian army.
Recall that Iran and Israel are key players in the Middle East theater of operations, where the most acute situation has developed in Syria. Both countries have quite positive relations with Russia.
