Iranian President arrives in Islamabad on Monday, Ambassador meets Interior Minister – Pakistan

Iran’s President Dr. Ibrahim Raisi is arriving in Islamabad on Monday. A number of key meetings are expected in this high-profile visit under critical conditions.

In the context of the Iranian attacks on Israel in response to the airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus and the subsequent Israeli attack on Iran, the visit is being described by strategic affairs experts as of extraordinary importance.

In this visit, there will be broad-based negotiations with the Iranian President and the team accompanying him regarding the expansion of cooperation in various fields. The Iranian president will also visit Lahore and Karachi.

In Islamabad, Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam met Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. In this meeting, Mohsin Naqvi said that the Iranian President’s visit will be a milestone in the development of bilateral relations.
