Iranian Revolutionary Guards raided and seized a Portuguese-flagged ship belonging to an Israeli company on Saturday, Al Arabiya reported earlier.
In a video made public by the Associated Press, the moment of the attack by the Iranians, who approached the ship MSC Aries with a helicopter while it was sailing in the Strait of Hormuz, has been recorded.
In the video, according to AP, a member of the ship’s crew can be heard first shouting “don’t get out” and then giving instructions to head to the bridge as the Iranians continued to disembark.

According to the Associated Press, the ship belongs to the Zodiac Maritime company based in London, which is part of the Zodiac Group of the Israeli tycoon, Eyal Ofer, who often visits our country during the summer.
MSC Aries’ last port of call was in Dubai bound for the Straits of Hormuz as the data transponder was then turned off, a common practice for ships associated with Israel sailing in the area, the Times of Israel noted.
The seizure of the ship comes at a time when relations between Israel and Iran are in the “red” as information grows that Tehran is preparing for a retaliatory strike following the Israeli attack on its embassy in Damascus in which Iranians were killed.
