US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, said that Iran remains the greatest threat to Israel and cannot acquire nuclear weapons, noting that all options are on the table for that.

Blinken added in a speech to the “AIPAC” organization that “defense systems are being developed with Israel to enable it to defend itself, and we will continue to work towards Israel’s integration in the region,” stressing that the security of the Middle East region serves the interests of the United States.

Blinken pointed out that the two-state solution is necessary to preserve Israel’s identity as a Jewish and democratic state, calling for de-escalation, strengthening security cooperation, and improving life for the Palestinian people.

He continued, “The United States has a real national security interest in establishing normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. We can and must play a full role in moving forward on this issue, but we have no illusions as to whether this can be done quickly or easily.”

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said Monday that the agency has been unable to conduct JCPOA verification and monitoring activities related to production and inventory of centrifuges, rotors, bellows, heavy water and uranium ore concentrate for two and a quarter years in Iran.

Grossi pointed out during a meeting with delegates of 35 countries that are members of the IAEA’s Board of Governors that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium has risen by more than a quarter in three months.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said last week that Iran had significantly increased its stockpile of enriched uranium in recent months.

The agency stated, in a report, that “Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium exceeded by more than 23 times the limit allowed under the 2015 agreement between Tehran and the major powers, bringing Iran’s total stockpile of enriched uranium on May 13 to an estimated 4,744.5 kilograms, in While the permissible limit in the agreement is 202.8 kilograms.
