Ireland Circuit Court judge found guilty of sexually assaulting six youths 59-year-old Gerard O’Brien was convicted in the molestation case. Gerard was born without two hands and one leg. Gerrard was found guilty at a trial at the Central Criminal Court. Gerrard later claimed consensual sex had taken place, though the victims initially denied the allegations. The 10-member jury found him guilty of all nine charges in a seven-and-a-half-hour trial.
Between 1991 and 1997, Gerrard molested six young men while working as a teacher. He has been charged with one count of rape and eight counts of harassment. Gerard, who was 30 years old at the time, preyed on young men between the ages of seventeen and twenty-four.
Under the cover of his position as a children’s teacher, Gerard created a bad relationship with the students. He was taken to a pub and given alcohol and tortured. A student was molested in a pub toilet. The teacher’s true colors came out when the child ran down and told his mother while he was taking someone home and was torturing him.
