Iris and Peter Klein get divorced – but there were also happy times: when the two stood on stage together as a hit duo.
The drama about Iris and Peter Klein never ends. Again and again, Daniela Katzenberger’s mother addresses her fans on Instagram and complains to them about her suffering: Her husband Peter is said to have cheated on her during the jungle camp at the Hotel Versace with the accompaniment of Djamila Rowe, Yvonne Woelke. But before that, the two always seemed very happy, pulled together: And years ago they even tried as a hit duo – with the song “Hallo Deutschland”.
Daniela Katzenberger was Iris & Peter Klein’s biggest fan
A few years ago, Iris and Peter Klein were still relatively unknown. The couple was only known as the mother and stepfather of Daniela Katzenberger. But the two had their own plans for fame: Peter had wanted to gain a foothold in the hit business for a long time, writes the “Bild“. When that didn’t really work, the 55-year-old made a common cause with his wife Iris and sang the song “Hallo Deutschland”. At a performance about twelve years ago at “Die deutsche Schlagerparade” in Waldbronn-Neurod they trilled together from their homeland. In the front row: Daniela Katzenberger, who was doing “Nothing’s gonna stop me now” at the time was in the charts, and her sister Jenny Frankhauser.
While Iris threw himself into a floral dress with a leather vest and high heels, Peter sang in a leather jacket with fringes. Her duo name: “2 like us – Iris and Peter Klein”. The audience applauds enthusiastically – Daniela Katzenberger proudly films her mother and stepfather.
Unfortunately, nothing came of the Schlager career. Today, however, the two are on everyone’s lips: unfortunately not because of their music, but because of the drama surrounding their marriage.
