The renovation obligation should become one of the cornerstones of the heating transition. In mid-March, the EU Parliament spoke out in favor of tightening the Building Efficiency Directive. The main aim is to regulate energy efficiency standards uniformly in the member states – and to renovate buildings with low energy classes.
