Is OnePlus 11 for gaming? Test in heavy games

The OnePlus 11 just came out of the oven with the recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, GPU Adreno 740, 16 GB of RAM and a 5000 mAh battery. The OnePlus 11 screen consists of an AMOLED display, 6.7 “in physical size, QuadHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Despite having extremely high specifications, the price of the OnePlus 11 is no 7-headed bug. This little guy here currently costs from R$ 3,900.00 to R$ 4,000.00 on Aliexpress. It’s no bakery change value, but it’s much more affordable than the last device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that we tested here.

Who will compete with the OnePlus 11 is another smartphone with the same processor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which we also have in our hands, right here.

Finally, I will remind you that everything played today is in maximum graphic quality, since the tested cell phone is a flagship, a top of the line, okay? Go for the tests.

OnePlus 11 test in heavy games

Asphalt 9

The very first game tested is our beloved racing game, Asphalt 9.

Around here, the OnePlus 11 averaged 60 FPS, with stability spiked at 100%.

The S23 Ultra excelled in Asphalt, scoring an average of 60 frames, with 100% stability. Galaxy may have done better by a frame, but overall, the two did pretty well.

Call of Duty

We had no doubts about the performance at CODzinho. OnePlus detonated, as expected, in the performance of the little game.

The average frame rate was 60, with 100% stability, a benchmark.

The S23 Ultra also boasted an average 60 frames at 100% stability.

✔️The village Flat Wheel✔️ for both.

Diablo Immortal

The OnePlus 11 delivered nothing less than expected in Diablo Immortal.

The device tested reached the dreamed average 60 frames, with 100% stability and the maximum graphics allowed.

The S23 Ultra also boasted a perfect result, scoring an average of 60 frames, with 100% stability.

eFootball

This time in our ‘little football for the kids’ we weren’t able to score any goals, but what matters is that the performance on the OnePlus 11 was perfect and without any problems.

The average frame rate was 59 with 100% stability.

The S23 Ultra boasted an average 60 frames at 100% stability.

✔️The village Flat Wheel✔️ for both.

Free Fire

If there’s one thing that’s a fact, it’s that the devices are disappointing a lot at Frifas. Everyone knows very well that the game is light and that it runs on any cell phone, but my question is: why the hell has there only been one or another smartphone so far that reached rates greater than 60 FPS. Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 has already come out and even so, one of the only ones that managed to masterfully run free fire is the Snapdragon 870 of the POCO F4, absurd.

Anyway, the OnePlus 11 stuck at 60 average frames, at 100% stability, as well as the S23 Ultra, which had the same result.

Fortnite

Without a doubt, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is one of the best processors to run Fortnite. The fluidity and smoothness speak for themselves, as the two devices tested performed very well and without any lag.

The OnePlus 11 scored an average frame rate of 60 with a low of 58.

The S23 Ultra was also excellent, averaging 60 with a low of 55 frames.

✔️The village Flat Wheel✔️ for both smartphones, they are great for a game of Fortnite ..

Genshin Impact

We’re finally having real competition here at Genshinzera, check it out.

The OnePlus 11 felt challenged by the competitor S23 Ultra and also scored the 60 frame average RATING, at 100% stability, just perfect.

As said, the S23 Ultra scored the average frame rate of 60, with 100% stability too, excellent.

Mortal Kombat

But after so much joy, bad news has to come, right? Yeah, we need to compensate.

Unfortunately OnePlus didn’t get more than 60 frames on average, with stability at 98%. We hope that with future game and mobile updates, the game’s framerate will be able to synchronize with the 120 Hz of the OnePlus 11 screen.

The S23 Ultra crushed it with its 120 FPS of average to 100% stability.

PUBG

With the grandiose GFX Tools turned on, we were able to achieve impressive performance on both devices, and with all graphics maxed out, it just turned on.

The OnePlus 11 reached an average of 90 FPS, with 99% stability in the game.

The S23 Ultra had a slightly lower result, narrowly losing, with an average of 89 frames, at 98% stability.

????Competitive Wheel Seal???? for the two devices tested.

Tower of Fantasy

We’re once again undercutting you with yet another DISAPPOINTMENT coming from the OnePlus 11.

Despite having super processing and a super screen, this little guy was not able to run Tower Of Fantasy with more than 60 FPS. Its stability was 99%, without crashing once.

The S23 Ultra fared better, averaging 86 frames at 99% stability.

Temperature

As in the previous season, we played an hour of COD Mobile in Battle Royale mode with all graphics at maximum, so we would know how much battery was lost in that period, as well as the temperature of the device’s screen. After that one hour of gaming, the OnePlus 11 warmed up ????7°C???? on its surface and lost ????10%???? of load.

These results are identical to those of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, look how funny. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 really has a lot of firepower, does not heat up and is extremely economical, it is the second device that comes out of the test with promising numbers like this.

Conclusion

We still haven’t finished the complete analysis of the OnePlus 11 over on the Oficina da Net channel, but we’ve already advanced here that, aiming only at performance for games, it’s not worth the investment in this guy. As much as its performance is great, it is not a GREAT PERFORMANCE OF BRL 4,000.00.

For that price, there are other smartphones that even have a more outdated processor, but that have better compatibility with games, quite different from our little guy here. The OnePlus 11, despite having the best processing chip currently, lacks a lot of support and updates, causing most of that firepower to be lost. After all, what’s the use of all that power if you won’t be able to get 120 FPS in Mortal Kombat, which even an entry-level device can get, huh?

Perhaps in the not so distant future, the OnePlus 11 will have better compatibility and optimization with games, but until that happens, it receives our disapproval.

His Seal is ????Competitive Wheel Seal????, but occupying fourth place on the list, behind the POCO F4.
