Jerusalem: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have asked the World Health Organization to vacate a medical warehouse in southern Gaza. The head of the World Health Organization said that the army has been asked to review the statement. Tredos Athenom Gebreos said.
After a week-long cease-fire agreement with Hamas ended, Israel launched a heavy offensive in Gaza. The IDF’s order to vacate the medical warehouse comes following Israel intensified its offensive targeting southern Gaza since Saturday.
‘Within 24 hours the goods must be removed from the warehouse in southern Gaza, and the ground war is regarding to begin,’ the IDF wrote to the World Health Organization, noted Tredos X.
“We urge Israel to withdraw the order. And take necessary measures to protect hospitals, civilians and their infrastructure,’ the WHO chief said.
