The President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, called on the international community to join forces against the “regime” in Tehran, during meetings he had today in Jerusalem with the Foreign Ministers of the United Kingdom and Germany, Liz Truss and Annalena Burbock, respectively .
“The whole world must work urgently and decisively against the threat posed by the Iranian regime, which seeks to undermine the stability of the entire region,” Isaac Herzog told X.

David Cameron’s visit comes a day after the British prime minister appealed to Israel for “calm” Rishi Sunakwho stressed that an escalation would not be “to anyone’s benefit”.
THE Analena Burbok took the side yesterday, Tuesday, in favor of new European Union sanctions on Iranian drones.
Assuring Israel of Germany’s “full solidarity,” he also said he wanted to discuss with its leaders ways to “avoid a further escalation.”
According to protothema, speaking to reporters in Israel today, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said it was clear that Israel had taken the decision to respond to Iran’s drone and missile attack and expressed the hope that it would be carried out in a way that would minimize scaling.
“It is clear that the Israelis are making a decision to act,” Cameron said. “We hope they do it in a way that does the least possible to escalate this.”
Britain wants to see coordinated sanctions against Iran, he added.
“A clear unmistakable message must be given by the G7” (the Group of Seven most developed industrialized countries), he said.
