Long march in Israel demanding intervention to free hostages. People from different parts of the country are marching to Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem. The march was 65 kilometers from the Tel Aviv Museum of Art to the Prime Minister’s office in Jerusalem.
No incidents of violence were reported in March. More than 1,200 Israelis have been killed in the war and about 240 have been taken hostage in Gaza. The protesters demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet did nothing for them and that their loved ones be returned.
Meanwhile, the dispute over Israel’s war cabinet continues in the ruling party. The protest is against the decision to allow fuel to Gaza. Ministers of the ruling radical Jewish parties have protested against Netanyahu. The opposition also demanded membership of all parties in the War Cabinet.
