Israel resumes full diplomatic relations with Turkey – Israel

JERUSALEM – Israel and Turkey aim to fully resume diplomatic ties through an upgrade. Both countries have decided to reinstate ambassadors and consuls-general, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said on Wednesday. This is the result of Lapid’s visit to Ankara in June and talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In 2010, the once close allies fell out.
