CIA Director William Burns is in Israel ahead of a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, an Israeli official told The Times of Israel.
THE Netanyahu declined to send a delegation to Cairo today to meet with Burns and senior Egyptian officials in Qatar in an attempt to forge a deal with Hamas which will be related to the release of the hostages.
According to protothema, the Israeli official refuses to comment on who else will participate in the meeting from the Israeli side. It is noted that later in the evening his war cabinet will meet Israel and then the security cabinet.
